Right in the heart of Basel, on the Barfüsserplatz, our cosy Kääs Beizli is waiting for you. You will be warmly welcomed and served by Rita and Jean-Luc in our newly designed, heated Beizli. The warm and inviting atmosphere and the smell of raclette from Basler Wirt’s Huus, which is prepared in our food truck, is the perfect place for cold days. Here you can enjoy raclette in a typical chalet atmosphere, as an individual portion or if you are very hungry, à discrétion and as a starter we can recommend our hearty Beizli-Plättli. Fancy a fondue? You’ll find that here too – traditional and cosy. Thanks to its central location on Barfüsserplatz, our Kääs Beizli is the perfect place to warm up after a stroll through the city, during a visit to the Basel autumn fair or the Christmas market. Just thirsty? Our Mulled Wine Hut with its bar tables is the perfect place for a Barfi aperitif and the ideal after-work meeting place.
